Individual components allow a multitude of possible combinations for very specific customer requirements. The established portfolio has been upgraded and expanded to good effect for the new BÜFA®-FireFox Fire Safety System. On the resin side, the system components now include a DCPD firestop resin, an RTM fire retardant foam resin specifically for lightweight engineering and a Class A surface Firestop infusion resin that is easy to work with. In contrast to conventional fire safety systems based on filled reactive resins or phenol resins, BÜFA®-Firestop Infusion Systems impress with their outstanding mechanical properties. “The test results indicate high process reliability at low weight and significantly better mechanics,”explains Peter Kornas, Head of Product Development and Application Technology at BÜFA Composite Systems in relation to the advantages of the products.
The extremely efficient glass materials for infusion components with their very good mechanical properties are offered under the name BÜFA®-Firestop Fabric. There is also very close cooperation in the area of lightweight engineering with 3D|CORE – a certified partner that offers innovative, high-strength core materials with a reinforcing cell structure. The recyclable hard foam cores are available with various performance structures and add the finishing touch to this best choice fire safety system.
The components made with the premium products from the BÜFA®-FireFox Fire Safety System meet the highest European and international fire safety standards and offer a virtually unlimited range of use. The system components from BÜFA®-FireFox also contain no toxic materials, such as halogens or antimony trioxide. All materials used are fully REACH-compliant.
